Those chunky Dunlop SP9000s look like Drag Radials on the back. Maybe I'm just not used to properly sized tyres. Either way, the car looks boring, and I have slightly more ground clearance than before. They're fine to roll around on for the winter whilst I try to get the car ready for next summer (I must of driven it 2 or 3 times this summer - weak)

Okishima! Spring 2010 Meet

Last Sunday the sun was shining in Milton Keynes, so we got as many of the OP cars together as we could for some photos and a chill (as well as a few other friends like Barry in his TVR). Heres my relatively basic shots, but watch out for Jord's awesome photos and Brooksie's video in the next few days!

New Tra-Kyoto car?

We've all seen the usual 6666 petrol station pics, but here's a car I hadn't seen before today. Pretty fresh! Shame about the roof scoop though.

RS*R Invidia

Finally got my new exhaust on. Its pretty quiet, but sounds great. It unfortunately, fits like ass, which means my downpipe gasket is blowing (thanks to a sheered bolt). So, next time I'm home, Ali is going to drill out the bolt and weld a piece of flexi section in the DP.

I've always felt Nissan couldn't really be arsed (unintentional pun) when designing the S14/a's rear end. My car looks rather unremarkable next to Morf's S13. This is outside Ali's place, UNIT18, just before we took my exhaust off. I collected my RS*R invidia today. It looks like 2.75" piping, but it should be fine for my spec, and I'm hyped to get it on.

Perforated eardrums

I'm swapping my drainpipe for an RS*R Invidia, so I got Ali to remove my old system so I can make the swap on Tuesday.

The car was practically undriveable with an open downpipe. The whole car violently reverberated at 3K RPM (the exact rev range I needed to cruise around Milton Keynes), and it felt like someone was letting a shotgun off in the car every time it popped or banged.

I made a quick video. I'll try and get a drive by shot before putting the new exhaust on.

When lord, when?!

My MOT ran out a few weeks back, seemed like an ideal chance to get some of the shite I've had hanging around fitted. Apologies for shaky phone pics, it was REALLY cold!

Should be quite a difference, theres just as much stuff to go on the front too but I dunno whether to keep it simple until its mot'd? decisions decisions.... either way, when its all fitted its skid time!

Last drive of the year

I'm back down in Portsmouth again so locked up my S14 for the winter. The car doesn't sound this bad in real life (although it does sound pretty bad). For some reason the compression has killed the sound quality.

Dailying the 200

My civic failed its MOT so I'm having to daily the 200 whilst I find the parts to get it sorted (Garage quoted me 160gbp & 140gbp for a lambda and cat - wtf).

Kouki Carpark shots

Took the 14 for a late night spin and grabbed the D40. The pics aren't spectacular by any means, but they'll do for now.

Finished the bodywork. Now need to sort the tyres and ride height (when my bank balance recovers).
